Our listed, fully restored Gulf farmhouse from 1806 stands alone, right on the North Sea dyke and not far from the small coastal village of Bensersiel. The Wadden Sea World Heritage Site with its some 10,000 animal species lies directly outside the door. You follow the play of the tides, which shapes and constantly changes this landscape, from the front row. Bird and landscape reserves surround POLDER72. Spring and autumn bring a special spectacle, when up to 12 million migrating birds rest in the Wadden Sea and on the fields around the farm to gather strength for the journey on.
